Each tree gift from The Trees Remember is carefully handcrafted to create a memorable first impression. Every gift package includes a beautifully designed keepsake card, personalized with your message, details about the tree planting program, and information about the lasting impact of your gift.

Yes. Every tree gift includes a separate notecard for your personal message. If you’d like, we can also personalize the text on the larger keepsake card to say whatever you’d like, provided it fits within the design of the card. Simply let us know your requested changes in the Comments section of the order form. Any revision requests must be submitted when placing your order.

Most orders are handcrafted and mailed within 1–2 business days. If you’ve requested revisions to one of our card designs, additional time may be required while we prepare a proof and receive your approval before production. Express Mail is also available if selected at the time of ordering.

We can mail your tree gift directly to the Recipient or send it to you for hand delivery. Simply provide the appropriate shipping address during checkout. Since our gift packages never include invoices, pricing, or packing slips, every package is ready to be sent directly to the Recipient.

Your trees will be planted in one of our carefully selected reforestation programs across the United States. Each planting location has been chosen for its ecological value and long-term restoration goals, helping forests and woodlands recover from wildfires and other natural disasters. Planting programs are established by national conservation organizations, the U.S. Forest Service, and other public land management agencies based on current restoration priorities. Factors such as wildfire recovery, storm damage, insect infestations, and overall forest health help determine where each reforestation program will have the greatest long-term environmental benefit.

Yes. You may choose from any of our available planting locations when placing your order.  In fact, The Trees Remember is one of a small number of services that allow for this.  Because reforestation programs open and close over time, available locations may change from year to year. Sadly, it is not possible to visit trees planted through the programs we participate in. Reforestation programs are large-scale conservation efforts funded by many different sources, making it impossible to determine which seedlings resulted from any particular order. Neither the trees nor the planting areas are identified in any way, and many restoration sites are located in very remote areas. Because of the logistics of these programs, neither we, nor our conservation partners, receive specific or detailed information on tree status or location.

Tree species are selected by forestry professionals based on the needs of each reforestation program. Native species are chosen to help restore healthy, diverse forests that are best suited to the local climate, soil, and growing conditions.

Seedlings are typically planted during the Spring following your order, giving them the longest growing season in which to take root and thrive. Planting schedules may vary by location and weather conditions to ensure the best opportunity for long-term success.

The number of trees you plant is entirely your choice. Whether you plant one tree or many, every tree contributes to restoring our nation’s woodlands and creates a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Yes. You may order multiple tree gifts at one time. If you would like duplicate gift packages sent to additional Recipients for the same Honoree, additional copies may be ordered during checkout. If you have a larger or more complex order, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
